Fair Play Policy
Last Updated: December 4, 2025
1. Our Commitment to Fair Play
At The Pavilion Fantasy Cricket, we are dedicated to maintaining a fair, transparent, and enjoyable environment for all users. Fair play is the foundation of our educational platform, ensuring that every participant has an equal opportunity to learn, compete, and improve their fantasy cricket skills without unfair advantages or manipulation.
This Fair Play Policy outlines the principles, rules, and enforcement mechanisms that govern user conduct on the Platform. By participating in fantasy cricket contests on our Platform, you agree to uphold these standards and contribute to a community built on integrity, sportsmanship, and respect.
2. Core Principles of Fair Play
2.1 Integrity and Honesty
All users must participate honestly and ethically. This means making team selections based on your own analysis and judgment, without attempting to manipulate the Platform, exploit technical vulnerabilities, or gain unfair advantages through prohibited means.
2.2 Equal Opportunity
Every user, regardless of experience level, has access to the same information, features, and opportunities on the Platform. We do not provide preferential treatment, insider information, or special advantages to any user or group of users.
2.3 Transparency
Our scoring systems, contest rules, and leaderboard calculations are transparent and applied consistently to all users. We publish detailed explanations of how points are awarded, how rankings are determined, and how contests are conducted.
2.4 Respect and Sportsmanship
Users are expected to treat fellow participants, Platform staff, and the cricket community with respect. Harassment, abusive language, discriminatory behavior, and unsportsmanlike conduct are strictly prohibited.
3. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited and constitute violations of our Fair Play Policy. Engaging in any of these activities may result in account suspension, permanent ban, or other enforcement actions:
3.1 Multiple Accounts and Identity Fraud
Each individual user is permitted to maintain only one active account on the Platform. Creating, operating, or using multiple accounts to gain competitive advantages, manipulate leaderboards, or circumvent restrictions is prohibited. This includes:
- Registering multiple accounts using different email addresses or identities
- Sharing account credentials with others or allowing others to access your account
- Creating accounts using false, misleading, or stolen personal information
- Transferring, selling, or trading accounts to other individuals
3.2 Automated Tools and Bots
The use of automated software, scripts, bots, or any form of artificial intelligence to interact with the Platform, create teams, or participate in contests is strictly forbidden. All team selections and Platform interactions must be performed manually by human users. Prohibited automation includes:
- Automated team creation or player selection scripts
- Bots that scrape data, monitor contests, or submit entries
- Browser extensions or third-party tools that automate Platform interactions
- Any software that provides automated decision-making or team optimization beyond publicly available information
3.3 Collusion and Match-Fixing
Users must not engage in any form of collusion, coordination, or agreement with other users to manipulate contest outcomes, leaderboard rankings, or Platform mechanics. Prohibited collusion activities include:
- Coordinating team selections with other users to dominate leaderboards
- Sharing insider information or strategic advantages with specific users
- Deliberately creating weak teams to benefit other users
- Engaging in any scheme to artificially inflate or deflate user rankings
3.4 Exploitation of Technical Vulnerabilities
Users must not attempt to exploit bugs, glitches, vulnerabilities, or unintended features of the Platform to gain unfair advantages. If you discover a technical issue, you are required to report it immediately to our support team rather than exploiting it. Prohibited exploitation includes:
- Using bugs to duplicate teams, manipulate scores, or bypass restrictions
- Exploiting timing vulnerabilities to gain access to information before other users
- Circumventing security measures, access controls, or geographic restrictions
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying Platform code
3.5 Harassment and Abusive Conduct
The Platform is a community built on respect and sportsmanship. Users must not engage in harassment, bullying, hate speech, or any form of abusive behavior toward other users, Platform staff, or cricket players. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Sending threatening, offensive, or harassing messages to other users
- Using discriminatory language based on race, religion, gender, nationality, or other protected characteristics
- Posting inappropriate, offensive, or explicit content in usernames, profiles, or communications
- Engaging in cyberbullying, doxxing, or invasion of privacy
3.6 Unauthorized Commercial Activity
The Platform is a free-to-play educational service, and users must not engage in any commercial activities or attempts to monetize their participation. Prohibited commercial activities include:
- Selling, trading, or auctioning Platform accounts, teams, or achievements
- Offering paid coaching, team-building services, or insider tips in exchange for money
- Advertising third-party products, services, or gambling platforms through the Platform
- Attempting to solicit real-money transactions from other users
4. Detection and Monitoring
We employ a combination of automated systems and manual review processes to detect and prevent violations of our Fair Play Policy. Our monitoring mechanisms include:
4.1 Automated Detection Systems
We use advanced algorithms and machine learning models to identify suspicious patterns, including unusual team selections, rapid account creation, coordinated behavior, and exploitation of technical vulnerabilities. These systems flag potential violations for further investigation.
4.2 User Reporting
We encourage users to report suspected violations of the Fair Play Policy. You can report suspicious activity, abusive behavior, or technical issues by contacting our support team at [email protected]. All reports are reviewed confidentially, and we protect the identity of reporters.
4.3 Manual Review and Investigation
Our Fair Play team conducts thorough investigations of flagged accounts and reported violations. This may include reviewing account activity, analyzing team selections, examining communication logs, and consulting with technical experts. We ensure that all enforcement actions are based on evidence and applied fairly.
5. Enforcement and Penalties
Violations of the Fair Play Policy are taken seriously and may result in the following enforcement actions, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation:
5.1 Warning
For minor or first-time violations, we may issue a formal warning to the user. The warning will explain the violation, outline the expected behavior, and notify the user that further violations may result in more severe penalties.
5.2 Temporary Suspension
For moderate violations or repeated minor violations, we may temporarily suspend the user's account for a specified period (e.g., 7 days, 30 days). During the suspension, the user will be unable to access the Platform or participate in contests.
5.3 Permanent Ban
For severe violations, including but not limited to multiple account fraud, automated bot usage, collusion, or harassment, we may permanently ban the user's account. Permanent bans result in the deletion of the account and all associated data, and the user is prohibited from creating new accounts.
5.4 Leaderboard Disqualification
Users found to have violated the Fair Play Policy may be disqualified from leaderboards and have their rankings removed. This ensures that leaderboards accurately reflect the performance of users who compete fairly.
5.5 Legal Action
In cases involving illegal activity, such as hacking, identity theft, or fraud, we reserve the right to report the violation to law enforcement authorities and pursue legal action to protect the Platform and our users.
6. Appeals Process
If you believe that an enforcement action was applied in error or that you have been unfairly penalized, you have the right to appeal the decision. To submit an appeal:
- Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Fair Play Appeal"
- Include your username, account email, and a detailed explanation of why you believe the enforcement action was incorrect
- Provide any supporting evidence, such as screenshots, logs, or documentation
Our Fair Play team will review your appeal within 14 business days and respond with a final decision. Appeal decisions are final and binding. Please note that submitting an appeal does not guarantee reversal of the enforcement action.
7. Reporting Violations
We rely on our community to help maintain a fair and respectful environment. If you witness or suspect a violation of the Fair Play Policy, please report it immediately. To report a violation:
- Email our support team at [email protected] with details of the suspected violation
- Include the username of the suspected violator, a description of the behavior, and any relevant evidence (screenshots, timestamps, etc.)
- Use the in-platform reporting feature (if available) to flag inappropriate content or behavior
All reports are treated confidentially, and we do not disclose the identity of reporters. False or malicious reports may result in penalties for the reporting user.
8. Educational Resources
We are committed to helping users understand and uphold fair play standards. We provide the following educational resources:

9. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Fair Play Policy from time to time to reflect changes in Platform features, user feedback, or legal requirements. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
Continued use of the Platform after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Fair Play Policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about our fair play standards.
